This guide provides step-by-step instructions to modify user details in Next Gen CIB using the iBusiness platform. It covers profile updates, access changes, and authentication requirements.
Step 1: Access User Management
- Log in to iBusiness using your Corporate Admin credentials.
- Navigate to User Management > Users

Step 2: Select and Edit the User
- Search for the required user from the list.
- Click on the user profile.
- Click the Edit (pencil) icon
to modify user details.

Step 3: Update User Profile Details
- Modify the required user information (e.g., name, contact details, etc.).
- Ensure all mandatory fields are completed correctly.

Step 4: Update Access Type and Authentication Method
- Modify the Access Type, if required:
- Initiator
- Authorizer
- Initiator & Authorizer
- Viewer
- Select or update the authentication method:
- Biometric Login (using the iBusiness app)
- Mobile Based TOTP (Google Authenticator)
- Desktop Based TOTP

Step 5: Manage Financial Configuration
- Add or remove Financial Configurations as required.
- Update user subscriptions and permissions based on business needs.

Step 6: Review Changes
- Navigate to the Summary Review screen.
- Verify all updated details, including:
- Profile information
- Access type
- Authentication method
- Financial configurations

Click Submit after verifying all details.
Step 8: Authenticate the Request
Complete authentication using one of the following methods:
- Mobile App Authentication
- Approve the request via the iBusiness mobile app notification using biometric/device authentication
- Google Authenticator
- Enter the OTP (One-Time Password) generated in Google Authenticator
Result:
A confirmation message will be displayed with a reference number.

Step 9: Approval (If Maker–Checker is Enabled)
If a Maker–Checker setup is configured:
- The request is routed to a Checker/Approver.
- The Approver must review and Approve or Reject the request.
- The update is applied only after approval.

- Always verify user identity before making changes.
- Ensure the correct access level and permissions are assigned.
- Confirm the appropriate authentication method is selected.
- Carefully review all changes before submission to avoid errors.
- Track the reference number for audit and troubleshooting.
- Maintain proper Maker–Checker segregation where applicable.
