We would like to inform you of an important update related to utility payment services. TAQA Distribution Abu Dhabi (ADDC) and TAQA Distribution Al Ain (AADC) will be consolidated into a single entity, TAQA Distribution, effective 25 May 2026, with the objective of enhancing service efficiency and improving the customer experience.
Service Downtime:
As part of this transition, TAQA utility payment services will be temporarily unavailable from 4:00 PM on 22 May 2026 until approximately 4:00 PM on 24 May 2026. Customers should be advised to plan their bill payments accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
Impact on Customers:
- Utility payments for Al Ain will be processed under TAQA Distribution.
- AADC (Al Ain) customers will be required to add a new beneficiary using the TAQA consumer number (New TAQA consumer numbers will be communicated directly by TAQA to affected Al Ain customers).
- Existing beneficiaries for ADDC (Abu Dhabi) utilities will continue to function without any changes.
- Previously completed transactions will remain available for customer reference.
- Transactions using the new TAQA consumer numbers will be enabled post completion of downtime.
Exceptional Scenarios :
- For both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain utility payments, new account statement transactions will display 'ADDC' in the narration instead of 'TAQA'.
- In the file upload template, only 'ADDC' will be accepted (not 'TAQA') for utility payments related to Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Team is working to resolve these 2 exceptional scenarios as soon as possible.

Please note that the bank will not be involved in the communication or allocation of new TAQA consumer numbers. Customers are requested to contact directly to TAQA for further clarification.
